I Don’t See Anything On TV

  1. Ensure that both the TV and EMAGINE units are switched on by looking at the status light. The EMAGINE unit should display a green light on the power button when switched on. A red light means the unit is off.
  2. Ensure you have selected the correct HDMI input on your TV, which is connected to your EMAGINE
  3. Leaving the TV switched on, switch off EMAGINE and restart EMAGINE again. Occasionally certain TV sets may fail to detect the HDMI input that EMAGINE is connected to.
  4. Check all cable connections by unplugging and re-plugging them into their respective ports. Occasionally the HDMI cable comes loose and the connection is affected
  5. Connect EMAGINE to a different HDMI input on the TV, in the event the HDMI input on the TV is faulty
  6. Reconnect EMAGINE to your TV with another HDMI cable, in case the HDMI cable itself is faulty.
  7. Perform a “Hard Reset”, by switching off EMAGINE’s power at the power switch, and switching on the power again. Then restart EMAGINE by using the remote control.
  8. If you have tried all of the above and EMAGINE is still not working, your EMAGINE unit may be faulty. Please contact support.

I See the Picture But There is No Sound

  1. Press the volume up button on the TV remote control to increase the volume and ensure that the TV volume is not zero or too low to hear anything.
  2. Press the volume up button on the EMAGINE remote control to increase the volume and ensure that the EMAGINE volume is not zero or too low to hear anything.
  3. Try playing a different video (that you can confirm has sound), or play a music file instead to ensure that you are not playing a video that has no sound.
  4. Leaving the TV switched on, switch off EMAGINE and restart EMAGINE again. Occasionally certain TV sets may fail to detect the HDMI input that EMAGINE is connected to.
  5. Check all cable connections by unplugging and re-plugging them into their respective ports. Occasionally the HDMI cable comes loose and the connection is affected
  6. Connect EMAGINE to a different HDMI input on the TV, in the event the HDMI input on the TV is faulty

The Remote Control is Not Working

  1. Confirm that there is a red blinking light on the top left corner of the remote control when you press a button. If there is not light, either reinsert the remote control batteries properly of change the batteries.
  2. Perform a “Hard Reset”, by switching off EMAGINE’s power at the power switch, and switching on the power again. Then restart EMAGINE by using the remote control.

The Wired/Wireless Keyboard is Not Working

  1. After plugging in your wired keyboard or the wireless receiver of your wireless keyboard into a USB port on your EMAGINE, switch off EMAGINE and restart it. Keyboards are usually only detected after a restart, or plugged in before EMAGINE is started.
  2. Switch off EMAGINE, plug your wired keyboard or the wireless receiver of your wireless keyboard into another USB port on your EMAGINE and restart EMAGINE.
  3. Test your keyboard on another device, for example your computer, to ensure it is working.
